Midya Telecom is a telecommunication company that provides wireless telephony, narrow band data service, and WIMAX broadband service. Fanoos Telecom is the official brand name of Midya Telecom. It is one of the companies of Faruk Holding and was founded in 2005 in Suleimany governorate. In 2006, it was licensed by the Iraqi Communication and Media Commission to provide its services to the seven northern governorate of Iraq.
